Once you have arrived here in Orlando, you need to strategically plan your visits to the Theme and Water Parks if you want to get your money's worth. You may want to decide ahead of time, what rides you want to see. Below are some tips to help you make the most of your days at the Theme and Water Parks.
1. Apparel--Dress in light clothing and good walking shoes. You may even want to wear two pairs of socks. You don't want your feet to give out before you do. Most of the year, shorts and a T-shirt will be fine for the whole day. Only in the winter months will it cool down enough that you might get cold. If that's when you are going to be here, then bring a light sweater or sweatshirt. I recommend that you bring an umbrella or rain poncho no matter when you are coming. We get torrential downpours here and if you're prepared, you can get into the rides and move around just fine while everyone else is huddled under the awnings. They also charge a lot for these items at the parks. For water parks, I recommend a one piece bathing suit for women, cover up, a towel and aquasocks for shoes. These will really help your feet if it's hot and keep them somewhat cushioned for more comfort.
Here's another tip. Secrets To An Affordable Walt Disney WorldŽ Vacation" will show you how to save up to 40% on your next vacation at Walt Disney WorldŽ. Save on Disney hotels, dining, Theme Park tickets and souvenirs!
